Steven F. Long has represented several
clients throughout Alabama since 1995 and has extensive experience
handling a wide range of litigation matters and fastidiously applies
his experience to help individuals, families, and small businesses
faced with a legal crisis. Over the course of his career, Mr. Long has
successfully litigated to a conclusion hundreds of cases, and has
successfully argued cases before the Alabama Supreme Court and Court of
Appeals. Mr. Long has represented clients in over 100
different venues across Alabama’s Federal, State Circuit, District and
Municipal court venues. As a former Assistant District Attorney, Mr.
Long is knowledgeable of the various criminal justice mechanisms and
procedures necessary to protect and preserve your legal rights.
With a personal commitment to his clients,
Mr. Long offers the prospective client competent representation in a
supportive, non-judgmental, hands-on environment. As a criminal defense
attorney, his philosophy is grounded in the strong belief that his
clients should be fully informed about every aspect of their case as it
progresses with no unpleasant surprises. All clients charged are
innocent until the State of Alabama has proven otherwise beyond a
reasonable doubt.
First and foremost, Mr. Long considers
himself an aggressive trial attorney. Although the vast majority of
cases are resolved without a trial, there are times a case must be
tried. While every situation is different, Mr. Long strives to minimize
the effects and ramifications of a criminal case to allow his clients
to put the case behind them and move on with their professional and
personal lives. We fight aggressively for our clients’ dignity, rights,
freedom, and futures. With each case there are a myriad of options
available to achieve the stated goals for the client. If you or someone you love has been arrested, is being investigated,
or, has been charged with a crime, call Mr. Long today for a FREE
CONFIDENTIAL CONSULTATION on how to best put the experience behind you.
